What else can I do with the bread apart from have it as a sandwich and toast it?
- It’s great for French toast, wont fall to pieces as it soaks in the egg.
- Try making bread rolls.
- It’s great as a toasted sandwich; just butter the bottom of the bread and place in a hot pan, add your ingredients on top, then add the top slice with the buttered bread up, when the bottom is brown, flip over to cook other side.
- Try mini savouries; butter one side of a slice of bread then cut into 1/4s, place in patty tins buttered side down, cook for a little first to begin to crisp up, then top with a mixture of egg, cheese, onions, bacon, or whatever you choose, bake in hot oven.
- Make it up as pizza bases. Or if you are in a hurry, just toast the bread first then use as a pizza base. Firm enough to hold a stack of yummy pizza toppings.
- Try it as garlic bread or crostini.
