Easy Chocolate Cake
Sift together:
- 1 2/3rd cups of GF flour (I use Horleys)
- 2/3rds cup of cocoa
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
Add:
- 1 ½ cups of sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon of salt
- 100grams (1/2 cup) butter or marg. melted
- 1 ½ cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
Mix for 3 minutes
Pour into greased or lined cake tin
Bake 180 c, for 50 minutes
Adaptations:
- Use natural yoghurt or buttermilk
- Try rice milk if dairy free
- Use Marg. Instead of butter
- Add a mashed banana
- Add 1 teaspoon of liquid coffee
